U19 Asia Cup: Pakistan crush India
MNP – Shahzaib Khan’s blistering 147-ball 159 and Usman Khan’s resilient 94-ball 60 powered Pakistan to thumping 44-run victory against arch-rivals India in the third match of the U19 Asia Cup in Dubai on Saturday.
Chasing a target of 282 runs, the Indian team were all out for 238 inside the 48th over, with Nikhil Kumar remaining their top scorer, scoring 77-ball 67, studding with six boundaries and three sixes.
Mohamed Enaan scored a 22-ball 30, before he was run out by Saad Baig.
For Pakistan, Ali Raza picked up three wickets.
Abdul Subhan (2-46), Fahamul Haq (2-41) picked up two wickets apiece.
Naveed Ahmed Khan (1-56) and (1-21) took a scalp each.
Earlier, Pakistan scored 281 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Shahzaib Khan stood out with a brilliant knock of 159 off 147, clobbering five boundaries and 10 towering sixes.
