15th #NationalAssembly to hold last #session today
ISLAMABAD (MNP) – 15th National Assembly is expected to hold its last sitting today around 2 PM (PST) as Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef has announced to advice president to dissolve the assembly on Wednesday.
The six point agenda of the session has been issued, including paying gratitude to President of Pakistan Arif Alvi to address the session. The proposal for expressing gratitude remained on every succeeding agenda since the presidential address to national assembly but could not be passed prior to this meeting.
It has been observed that the agenda does not contain any law-making proposal rather only comprise of two attention seeking notices.
Moreover the parliament will also convene a joint session the same day around 5 PM (PST). Two point agenda for the joint session has also been issued. The agenda includes conventional recitation of Quran, Naat-e-Rasool and national anthem.
