CEO LWMC Ali Anan Qamar Appointed as DC Faisalabad
Lahore ( MNP ) CEO LWMC Ali Anan Qamar has been posted as DC Faisalabad. In honor of Ali Anan Qamar’s best efforts, a farewell ceremony was organized at LWMC Head Office. Ali Annan Qamar also distributed certificates of appreciation to the dutiful officers who did the best work during his tenure. According to spokesperson LWMC, Ali Anan Qamar was appointed as CEO LWMC for more than four months. Revolutionary reforms were carried out in LWMC under the leadership of Ali Anan Qamar. Ali Anan Qamar as the CEO of LWMC took important steps to improve the cleanliness of the city in a short period of time and introduced the waste segregation model in the city by placing 3 colors of bins at 39 different points of the city. Green waste was collected from all over the city to prepare green compost. Memorandum of understanding was signed with German, Norwegian, Thai and Chinese companies for waste to energy project. Surveillance of 360 degree CCTV cameras was ensured to improve the monitoring system. All records of LWMC workshops were digitalized. Ali Anan Qamar directed to conduct plantation drive at Lakhodair Landfill site and announced to plant 50 thousand saplings this year. 2.5 million rupees were saved in the national exchequer by repairing damaged containers. 8.6 million rupees were saved as a result of reduction in fuel consumption under the leadership of Ali Anan Qamar. More than 1000 ghost employees were laid off and lakhs of rupees were saved by dismissal. Anti-littering squad was formed to prevent the spread of garbage on the roads. An awareness campaign was organized at the historical places of Lahore city and waste picking activities were done along with the students. A facility center was inaugurated for the welfare of the workers and to solve their problems. The efforts of Ali Anan Qamar has made it an ideal and modern waste management practices based institution, which is a beacon for other waste management companies in Punjab. Before being posted as DC Faisalabad, Ali Anan Qamar has also been posted as DC Attock, DC Muzaffargarh, and DC Narowal. Ali Anan Qamar has also performed the duties of DC Kirk and DC Nowshera.
