Champions Trophy: BCCI team to visit Lahore for semi-final

MNP – A five-member delegation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to arrive in Lahore tomorrow to witness the second semi-final of the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025.
According to sources, the delegation will be led by Rajiv Shukla, a senior BCCI official. The visit marks a significant moment for cricket relations between the two neighbouring countries.
The BCCI representatives are expected to stay in Lahore for two days. However, no official meetings have been confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, Australia won the toss and chose to bat first in the first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against India at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
According to Michael Atherton, the pitch is dry, cracked, and expected to assist spinners. A gentle breeze is blowing across the stadium, ensuring conditions are not too hot. The surface could play a crucial role in determining the match outcome, particularly for India’s spin-heavy attack.
