Pakistan’s trade delegation arrives in Bangladesh after 12 years

MNP – In a positive development for Pakistan-Bangladesh economic ties, a trade delegation has arrived in Bangladesh after a 12-year hiatus.

During the five-day visit, the Pakistani delegation will meet with key political and business figures in Bangladesh.

President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Mian Anjum Nisar, confirmed that Pakistan has secured an order to export 25,000 tons of sugar to Bangladesh.

According to FPCCI Senior Vice President, Saqib Fayaz Muggon, the current trade volume between Pakistan and Bangladesh stands at $800 million and has the potential to grow to $2 billion.

High-profile meetings during the visit are expected to focus on increasing trade and finalizing new commercial agreements.
