Heavy losses as forces foil infiltration bids by terrorists, Afghan Taliban

MNP – Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted multiple infiltration attempts by terrorists and Afghan Taliban elements at the Pak-Afghan border, dealing a significant blow to hostile activities emanating from Afghan soil.

According to reliable sources, the incidents unfolded between the night of December 27 and the morning of December 28 in Kurram and North Waziristan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the night of December 27 and 28, a group of 20 to 25 terrorists attempted to cross into Pakistan from two locations in Kurram and North Waziristan using Afghan Taliban-controlled border posts. Timely action by Pakistan’s security forces thwarted the attempt, sources revealed.
