PTI leaders stress rule of law, urge negotiations to resolve political crisis

MNP – Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders addressed a press conference, reiterating their commitment to the rule of law and Constitution while emphasizing the need for dialogue to resolve the ongoing political crisis.

Shibli Faraz stated that PTI is a peaceful party fighting for justice through the courts, expressing hope for a fair verdict. The PTI’s politics is for the rule of law and Constitution and will remain within this framework,” he stated. He outlined the party’s three-phase strategy: legal battles, protests, and negotiations.

“The solution to every problem lies in negotiations. The current government must engage responsibly, as the success or failure of talks will rest on their shoulders,” he asserted.

Faraz condemned the political cases against PTI leaders, terming them baseless and driven by vendettas. “We oppose violence and fascism. This country must operate on constitutional principles, but unfortunately, personal preferences are prioritised here,” he said, adding that the conditions for talks include the release of all detained PTI members.
