‘Charter of economy should be discussed during negotiations’, says NA speaker
MNP – National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said on Saturday that the charter of economy should be discussed during the negotiations between the government and opposition.
Expressing his thoughts, Sadiq said: “It is up to the government and opposition to pick up the topic to talk. Despite the difference, there is a need to hold talks.”
He recalled the events that transpired on May 9, saying, “Even the Indian army had not done what happened on May 9.”
Sadiq questioned, “Is this the first time that the military courts handed down a sentence?”He said, “Those who are talking about the sanctions on Pakistan are not Pakistanis.”
