FO confirms Pakistan’s airstrikes in Afghanistan killed ‘terrorists’
MNP – Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in a weekly briefing on Thursday confirmed that Pakistani conducted airstrikes in Afghanistan and killed terrorists on the solid evidence and operation-based action.
The FO spokesperson said Pakistan respects Afghanistan’s sovereignty and terrorism is a common challenge that Afghanistan will also have to fight together.
“Pakistan does not want to discuss the Afghan issue through the media. This is a bilateral issue that the Afghan authorities are also aware of and so are we,” the spokesperson of the MOFA told media persons.
Pakistan’s entire focus is on border management, terrorism, trade and the welfare of the people on both sides, she added.
