The skilled golf playing ladies of the country converged at the world class par 72 Rumanza Golf and Country Club Golf Course
Lahore (MNP) DHA ,Multan to compete in the 3rd Ladies Golf Squad Rumanza Night Golf Tournament held yesterday .Lady contestants dressed in vibrant purple and magnetta attire launched themselves to counter golfing challenges of the alluring Rumanza Golf Course.
In wonderful playing conditions the star of the competition in Diamond Category was Humna Amjad who displayed classy playing skills to emerge as top player with a gross score of 71.Her hitting off the tees was accurate and powerful were her drives on all par fours and par fives .And her superb control over every shot was an inspiration for the emerging lady golfers who are seeking attainment in national golf circuit of Pakistan .Runners up gross was Zahida Durrani ,another golf player of eminence in the ladies category .And second runner up in gross category was Ana james who played steadily and had to be content with the 3rd gross ,as the other two winners were just remarkable .
Net section outstanding performers in Diamond Category were Ayra Yasin ,first net ,Zaib un Nisa ,second net and Tehmina Ahmed ,third net .
As for the formidable ones in Gold Category playing to handicaps ranging from 25 to 36 ,the best in gross section were Sobia Waseem ,first gross ,Minaa Zainab ,second gross and Humaira Zeeshan ,third gross .And net honors went to Arooj Kawal ,first net,Huma Bilal ,second net and Saba Amjad ,third net .
Senior Ladies who ended up with prizes were Shahbana Waheed ,first gross,and Ayesha Hameed ,second gross .Those who won net prizes are Shahnaz Moeen and Amra Leghari.
The event was organized by Mrs Minaa Zainab and Salman Abbasi and endorsed by Gourmet. Col Attique Ahmed Khan ,Director of Rumanza Golf and Country Club distributed prizes to the winners in the Senior ,Gold and Diamond categories .
