Gaddafi Stadium Upgradation Project: PCB Chairman conducts detailed visit
Lahore (Mustansar Khan) PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi conducted a detailed visit of the venue on Monday and reviewed the progress of the upgradation project.
He also inspected the ongoing works in the basement and directed FWO and NESPAK to complete the Gaddafi Stadium upgradation within the stipulated time. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi instructed that the steel fixing work be completed promptly and all construction works be finished within the timeline.
Subsequently, Mr Naqvi chaired a meeting at the FWO camp office, where a briefing was given on the construction activities of the upgradation project. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi directed NESPAK to finalise the drawings and provide them to FWO at the earliest.
Mr Naqvi emphasised that the stadium’s upgradation must be completed before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He also inspected the ongoing underground water tank project. The FWO Project Director briefed on the progress of the upgradation. PCB Director of Infrastructure, Senior General Manager Infrastructure, and officials from NESPAK and FWO were also present in the meeting.
