Taylor Swift, the heartthrob of millions, is now a billionaire
NEW YORK/LONDON (MNP) – American pop star Taylor Swift – who is a heartthrob of millions, if not billions – is now a billionaire, with a “conservative” estimated value of $1.1 billion, as the music diva continues to attract music lovers around the world, thus boosting her revenues.
A Bloomberg report has taken into account her earnings from the ongoing Eras tour, which started on Mar 17 and will end on Sept 23, with a total 56 shows, making her one of the few recording artists to build a 10-figure fortune almost entirely from her music.
But it is not just her personal fortunes as the report says Swift, who is just 33, helped adding $4.3bn to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) through the US lag of the Eras tour.
