#WahabRiaz has announced to establish #sports academies and training camps
LAHORE (MNP) Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz in a statement on Tuesday has announced to establish sports academies and training camps as per directions of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that 14 sports academies are being established in Lahore while six academies will be established in the remaining districts. “The academies will work three days a week keeping in mind the busy schedule of the schools,” he added.
Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz further said that the young athletes can join the academies on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 6pm. “The registration fee for swimming training camp will be Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,000 for other sports,” he elaborated.
Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that expert coaches will train the young athletes in the academies. “The training camps will continue from October 5 to January 27,” he added.
Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that these camps and academies will help a lot in nurturing talent at the grassroots level. “The registration process for academies will start on Sept 27.
