CCPO LAHORE CALLS FOR DRASTIC IMPROVEMENT IN PERFORMANCE
Lahore (MNP) A meeting chaired by Capital City Police Officer Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, convened to scrutinize the performance of Cantt and Model Town Divisions. Bilal Siddique Kamyana expressed his displeasure over the unsatisfactory performance of the Cantt and Model Town divisions and directed the SP Cantt (Investigation), SP Model Town (Investigation) to improve their performance while warning issued to ASP Kahna to improve performance. The CCPO called DSP (Operations) Cantt, DSP (Investigation) Cantt and DSP (Investigation) Gulbarg to account for their poor performance and directed to issue show cause notices to SHOs Harbanspura, Nishtar, Faisal Town and Incharges (Investigation) North Cantt and Kot Lakhpat for their poor performance.
The CCPO said that the concerned SPs are also responsible for the poor performance of SDPOs, SHOs, Incharge (Investigation). He directed that divisional SPs improve their command and control and hold regular meetings with SHOs. CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that there is no room for apathy, complacency and negligence in the police department. In case of negligence and lack of interest in duties, departmental action will be taken. He directed the concerned officers to arrest criminals, proclaimed offenders, drug dealers and improve recovery. CCPO Lahore ordered a grand operation against drug peddlers and said that the police force should act as a role model institution. DIG (Operations) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG (Investigation) Imran Kishwar, SSP (Admin) Atif Nazir, SSP (Operations) Soheib Ashraf, SSP (Investigation) Anush Masood Chaudhry. attended the meeting while SPs, ASPs, Circle Officers, SHOs, Incharges (Investigation) of Cantt and Model Town Divisions were also present in the meeting.
