LAHORE (MNP) Adviser to #ChiefMinister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs #WahabRiaz visited #KalmaChowk and Lahore General #Hospital on Monday to review the situation created after the heavy downpour in the #city.
Commissioner #Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa and other officials were also present on this occasion.
While talking to the media, Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that the issue of rainy water is being examined as to why the rainy water has stagnated in newly built Kalma Chowk Underpass. A full inquiry will be conducted, he added.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz issued directives to authorities concerned to clear Kalma Chowk, Lahore General Hospital and other low-lying adjoining areas of rainy water as soon as possible.
He also directed them to maintain proper cleaning of the city and drain out accumulated rain water quickly from low-lying areas of the provincial capital.
