Alleged audio tape of PTI’s Yasmin Rahid, CCPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar goes viral
LAHORE (MNP) – An alleged conversation between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Yasmin Rashid and Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ghulam Mahmood Dogar is the latest addition to the series of audio leaks.
The latest audio began with exchange of formal greetings between the former health minister and Lahore police chief before Ms Yasmin makes a question about his restoration as Lahore CCPO.
“Tell me some good news, if you have received reinstatement orders,” she asked apparently referring to Friday’s ruling of the Supreme Court that had suspended the interim government’s notification to transfer him. Mr Dogar replied in negative.
When she asked “what are their [government] plans,” the former Lahore police chief told her about the process, stating an order would be dispatched after the apex court judge’s signature. Then, she told him that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was concerned about him.
