1st NATIONAL MEN & WOMEN SAMBO CHAMPIONSHIP 2023
Lahore (MNP) First National Men & Women Sambo Championship 2023 ended here today at Punjab College Campus Lahore. Teams from Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KP, Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad participated in the championship. Sambo is newly introduced sport in Pakistan which is recognized by International Olympic Committee and included in Asian Martial Arts Games and Asian Games.
Punjab secured first position both in Men & Women, while Gilgit Baltistan Women Sambo team perform excellent and won second position. Zahid Ateeq Ch. President Sambo Federation of Pakistan was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the championship.
Malik Munawar Hussain CEO Pearl Petro Industry (PVT) LTD, Bao Muhammad Bashir Chairman Punjab Sambo Association and Mr. Asim Rafi President Punjab Sambo Association were the Guest of honor.
